For The Little Brother- Get ROK'n is a young builder’s introduction to Rokenbok remote control action. This set combines the full function remote control Dump Truck with our revolutionary ROK Blocks, and a Motorized Conveyor with chutes and loading docks for sorting and delivery. All the action is controlled by the ROK Star Controller.
This Dump Truck loads from the front or rear, so head straight into a loading dock for a load of red or blue ROKs. Dump your load of ROK balls into the Motorized Conveyor and watch it come to life, automatically. Rok Star Technology
ROK Star is a completely wireless, light-based, multi-player, multi-vehicle remote control system.
This new control system allows an unlimited number of controllers to talk to an unlimited number of Rokenbok machines simultaneously. Key to ROK Star technology are high-speed data bursts transmitted by infrared light. It's this unique new data transmission architecture that allows multiple controllers to be used at the same time. The ROK Star controller uses a combination of visible and infrared light to select a vehicle and give it a unique address. Once the ROK Star Controller selects a vehicle to control, the controller and vehicle are paired and the vehicle will ignore data transmitted by all other controllers. It's like cupping your hands over your mouth and yelling "Hey you!" to a playmate across a crowded playground, and Hey You was the Company's code name for the project while in development.
Another key issue is the interference from fluorescent lights that often raises havoc with infrared based control systems. A unique optical filtering system was designed that rejects overhead interference from florescent lighting while allowing the high-speed data bursts from the ROK Star controllers to pass into vehicle receivers unimpeded.
The result is well designed, premium quality remote control toys that are both fun and highly functional. The new ROK Star design is more intuitive than Rokenbok's retiring RF based system, and most users will have it up and running right away, without the need to even reference instructions. Just point a controller at a vehicle and press the select button, now you are in control! No switches to set, no addresses to remember - just point, click and it works.

A- The machines uses four wheel drive skid steering, driving the right and left side wheels in opposite directions to turn. This means the machines can spin on its own axis (spin in-place).

A- Yes, the Loader & the Dump Trcuk both have a horn, siren, and back-up warning.
Q- How does the conveyor know when to start?
A- An electronic eye in the base of the conveyor sees when ROKs are dumped in.
Q- How do the red and blue ROKs get sorted?
A- The red and blue ROKs are different size, and roll through a size sorting chute.

A four-yearl-old's dream toy!
I never would have guessed that our four-year-old son would be so good at operating this remote control set. There are lots of buttons and features in the remote, but he seems to understand it all. He loves to make custom trailers with the blocks that are included, and likes to make airplanes to tow with the dump truck too. His little sister is mesmerized by the conveyor. She loves to pour balls in and watch it start up by itself. Rokenbok is a home-run at our house, and we are likely to add to our collection during the holidays.
