Description
Quick Facts:
Powerful treads climb over obstacles and push large loads.
Specially engineered dozer blade can stack beams, too.
Patented floating blade corrals ROKs and helps guide your load.
Working headlights, horn, and three powerful motors.
Precise, but built for rough play.
Introducing the newest machine in the ROK Star fleet, the Remote Control Dozer. This rugged ROK Star machine is ready for action and isn't afraid to push its weight around! It comes with the Rokenbok Recycling Center. Just push your payload through the sorting station and watch as the balls and barrels are automatically separated into their own storage quarries. When you're sorting is complete, use your Dozer to push the ROK balls up the loading ramp and into your Conveyor.
With three motors and powerful treads, the Remote Control Dozer is a bruiser, but it has precision and finesse too! Specially engineered hooks on the Dozer’s blade can drag and stack Rokenbok beams. The Dozer is the perfect machine to keep your construction site organized and ready for action.
The Remote Control Dozer is a precise and tough remote control robot, engineered for years of play. It's built for rough play, crashes, tumbles, and spills. And ROK Star control means the
Dozer is commanded by any ROK Star controller.
Requires ROK Star Controller and 3 AA batteries (not included).
What's In The Box

Rok Star Technology
This Rokenbok machine is controlled by new ROK Star technology. A ROK Star Controller is required, but not included.
ROK Star is a completely wireless, light-based, multi-player, multi-vehicle remote control system. This new control system allows an unlimited number of controllers to talk to an unlimited number of Rokenbok machines simultaneously. Key to ROK Star technology are high-speed data bursts transmitted by infrared light. It's this unique new data transmission architecture that allows multiple controllers to be used at the same time.
The ROK Star controller uses a combination of visible and infrared light to select a vehicle and give it a unique address. Once the ROK Star Controller selects a vehicle to control, the controller and vehicle are paired and the vehicle will ignore data transmitted by all other controllers. It's like cupping your hands over your mouth and yelling "Hey you!" to a playmate across a crowded playground.
Another key issue is the interference from fluorescent lights that often raises havoc with infrared based control systems. A unique optical filtering system was designed that rejects overhead interference from florescent lighting while allowing the high-speed data bursts from the ROK Star controllers to pass into vehicle receivers unimpeded.
The result is well designed, premium quality remote control toys that are both fun and highly functional. The new ROK Star design is more intuitive than Rokenbok's retiring RF based system, and most users will have it up and running right away, without the need to even reference instructions. Just point a controller at a vehicle and press the select button, now you are in control! No switches to set, no addresses to remember - just point, click and it works.
You can find the ROK Star Controller in the ROK Works and Get ROK'n action sets, the Power Sweeper Value Pack, and sold separately.

Great - Way more fun than I expected
When I saw the dozer, I thought it wouldn't be as much fun as the other Rokenbok trucks, since it doesn't lift, haul and dump the Roks, like most of the other trucks do. Boy, I was wrong. I wasn't thinking like a little kid. Watching it plow thru the "site" is loads of fun for them. The dozer is great for beginners, as it is somewhat simpler to use than the other trucks. My preschoolers could "plow" with it, even when the other trucks were still a bit challenging for them. They could shove stuff around and roll over things, both were loads of fun, and early on, that helped them to feel comfortable and confident with the Rokenbok toys.
The dozer is a good multi-user truck. One kid can shove Roks into a pile with the dozer, while the other uses a loader to gather them up and take them away.
The dozer has the added bonus that it is also somewhat more challenging, once the kids start using its hooks to carry and stack beams. I think the beam carrying feature is fantastic. My son's favorite Rokenbok truck is the forklift, and the dozer essentially has a little forklift feature to it, so in effect, we have two different types of forklifts. Now THAT is joy.
Dozer Review
I bought this for my son for his birthday and he loves it! My son is only four but he still has no issue controlling all the dozers functions. With the tracks we can climb over obstacles which is lot of fun. I highly recommend this toy for dads and kids alike!.
Rokenbok is always fun
We got the new Rok star recycling center a few days ago. Karter age 6 set it up in about 10 minutes. The instructions were easy for him to read and follow. He was using the dozer and having a great time.
While he was playing with the newest addition to our collection he said "Lego's are fun some of the time, but Rokenbok is fun all the time". I could not agree more.
The recycling center is a great addition for most collection. It would be my in my top 3 for adding another element of building. This set adds a different dimension for the builds. We have 4 recycling centers 3 of the old style R/C and 1 Rok star.
ROKENBOK GREAT QUAILITY and LONG LASTING PRODUCTS.
THE KIDS ALWAYS HAVE FUN WITH ROKENBOK.
Much more fun than one might think
To be honest, I dont have the newer Rok Star version, I only have the older radio tower controlled bulldozer, and I think its great. The Rok Star version is an even better updated version of what I own, so think of this as "If the old version is this good, the new version is even better" testamonial. The bulldozer is a much more entertaining machine than you would typicly think. I beleive I got mine on sale when they were clearing out the stock for the rok star system, mine came free with the monorail or vice versa. I had wanted the monorail and thought, why not get a free bulldozer too?
In the end, I wound up enjoying the bulldozer a great deal more. Besides being a strangly charming machine to play with, a machine just for pushing things turned out to be far more usefull and versatile than I expected. For one, it works well with other vehicles, acting to line them up to be grabbed by other machines. With some skill, it's great for pushing vehicles upright again if they've managed to fall onto their sides. The lifting "blade" can also manipulate a significany number of objects to pull, and grab, particularly with the little hooks originaly designed to lift the rok beams. It also happens to be the powerhouse vehicle, offering more tracction and pushing power than any other vehicle, making it more of an "all terrain" machine compared to other vehicles.
