The Remote Control Dump Truck is especially easy to operate because it loads and dumps from the front. Effortlessly guide the RC Dump Truck into a loading dock to pick up cargo, or pull right up to a Conveyor to dump cargo. Even the most advanced Rokenbokers will want a RC Dump Truck as part of their Rokenbok world, because of its huge capacity for moving cargo. This vehicle has a manual trailer hitch, horn, siren, and back-up warning. Separate motors drive the wheels on each side of the RC Dump Truck, so it can spin on its own axis. A third motor powers the dump bed independently and you can raise and lower the bed while the RC Dump Truck is on the move.
What has two microprocessors, three motors, a safety clutched dump bed, and working headlights? The Rokenbok Dump Truck, of course! Rokenbok remote control machines are tough, real working equipment. They are built for rough play, crashes, and spills. This is not an ordinary toy rc dump truck, but a precise and very rugged ROK Star controlled robot. ROK Star machines are smart too. They won’t interfere with each other so that you can add as many ROK 
Star machines and controllers as you want to your Rokenbok world.

Rok Star Technology
This Rokenbok machine is controlled by new ROK Star technology. A ROK Star Controller is required, but not included.
ROK Star is a completely wireless, light-based, multi-player, multi-vehicle remote control system. This new control system allows an unlimited number of controllers to talk to an unlimited number of Rokenbok machines simultaneously. Key to ROK Star technology are high-speed data bursts transmitted by infrared light. It's this unique new data transmission architecture that allows multiple controllers to be used at the same time.
The ROK Star controller uses a combination of visible and infrared light to select a vehicle and give it a unique address. Once the ROK Star Controller selects a vehicle to control, the controller and vehicle are paired and the vehicle will ignore data transmitted by all other controllers. It's like cupping your hands over your mouth and yelling "Hey you!" to a playmate across a crowded playground.
Another key issue is the interference from fluorescent lights that often raises havoc with infrared based control systems. A unique optical filtering system was designed that rejects overhead interference from florescent lighting while allowing the high-speed data bursts from the ROK Star controllers to pass into vehicle receivers unimpeded.
The result is well designed, premium quality remote control toys that are both fun and highly functional. The new ROK Star design is more intuitive than Rokenbok's retiring RF based system, and most users will have it up and running right away, without the need to even reference instructions. Just point a controller at a vehicle and press the select button, now you are in control! No switches to set, no addresses to remember - just point, click and it works.

A- No, the Dump truck only dumps forward, but you load the Dump truck from either the front or rear.
Q- What is the capacity of the dump-bed?
A- The Dump Truck can transport up to 50 ROKs at one time.

Simple to operate, holds lots of stuff
For Christmas, we got this, the skip loader, the power sweeper, and a conveyor system. The dump truck is one of the easier vehicles to operate, which is good to get our 4 year old comfortable with Rokenbok. The other vehicles either took a bit more coordination (driving and sweeping) or was not as obvious to our 4 year old as to how it should work (skip loader raises its arms entirely and then the bed moves). Over the course of a few weeks, though, he was driving all of them and making them do their work. The dump truck also holds way more Rokenballs than the skip loader...and lots of room for other goofy things like Goldfish (the snack, not the fish!), pennies, and a few Hot Wheels. I think the dump truck, in a moment of Monster Truck, also *carried* the the skip loader around for awhile one day.
