The Motorized Remote Control Drawbridge is two independent motors which power three drive types; winch drive, cog drive, and axle drive. It’s not an ordinary RC toy, but a precise and rugged ROK Star controlled robot. ROK Star machines are smart too. They won’t interfere with each other so that you can add as many ROK Star machines and controllers as you want to your Rokenbok world.

Rok Star Technology
ROK Star is a completely wireless, light-based, multi-player, multi-vehicle remote control system. This new control system allows an unlimited number of controllers to talk to an unlimited number of Rokenbok machines simultaneously. Key to ROK Star technology are high-speed data bursts transmitted by infrared light. It's this unique new data transmission architecture that allows multiple controllers to be used at the same time.
The ROK Star controller uses a combination of visible and infrared light to select a vehicle and give it a unique address. Once the ROK Star Controller selects a vehicle to control, the controller and vehicle are paired and the vehicle will ignore data transmitted by all other controllers. It's like cupping your hands over your mouth and yelling "Hey you!" to a playmate across a crowded playground.
Another key issue is the interference from fluorescent lights that often raises havoc with infrared based control systems. A unique optical filtering system was designed that rejects overhead interference from florescent lighting while allowing the high-speed data bursts from the ROK Star controllers to pass into vehicle receivers unimpeded.
The result is well designed, premium quality remote control toys that are both fun and highly functional. The new ROK Star design is more intuitive than Rokenbok's retiring RF based system, and most users will have it up and running right away, without the need to even reference instructions. Just point a controller at a vehicle and press the select button, now you are in control! No switches to set, no addresses to remember - just point, click and it works.

Q: Is the X2 powerful enough to lift another Rokenbok vehicle?
A: Yes, you can even lift multiple vehicles by combining the winch drive with pulley systems to build powerful elevators and lifts.
Q: What can the cog drive do?
A: Snap the X2 into place, and the cog drive pushes and pulls Rokenbok Beams to create linear drive systems. Or, place the X2 onto gantries constructed of Rokenbok beams, and use the cog drive to drive the X2 forward and back along the gantry.
Q: What do you mean by an axle drive?
A: Snap a beam into the end of cog drive, and you’ve got a powered axle. Use it to spin the drive wheel on a giant tramway or the wheels of your own custom Rokenbok vehicle.

Perfect for any advanced builder
I've been building with Rokenbok for about 6 years already and the X2 is my favorite vehicle to use in most of my builds. The things I mainly build are amusement park rides and the X2 is usually the best way to power the rides. I have already built many rides like Zamperla's Vertical Swing, Falling Star, a Roller Coaster, a Dive Bomber ride, and many future rides to come which are all powered by the X2. This product worked so well for me that I even ordered a seconed X2 for multiple or more advanced builds. The X2 will always be the perfect chioce to power anything in your Rokenbok world if you are an advanced builder.

Powering up your Rokenbok Builds
We've been using the X2 Dual Drive Power Unit for a while now and absolutely love it! The X2 unit has added a whole new dimension to our Rokenbok play. Almost immediately out of the box our children started to come up with interesting ways to use the X2 ranging from super long gantry cranes to powering a monorail round house. The X2 uses the new wireless control system that is self contained in the remote control. We love the fact that there are no more wires or cords to deal with and the range on this is great - the you can use the controller from anywhere in the room. The X2 is extremely sturdy. It has taken a beating from two young boys and has held up fantastically. And, as with all the other Rokenbok toys we've played with, the X2 unit is very well designed. The controller is easy to use and even fits very small 3 year old hands. This will get your kids thinking about how they can create new buildings, cranes, vehicles, castle gates . . . you name it.

What an incredible edition to the Rokenbok system! The X2 has greatly expanded what we can build with our Rokenbok system. As a dad, it has given me a lot of ways to add fun new elements to my 7-year-old's builds. We've made elevators, skyways, gantry cranes, gates and bridges with it.
